When you looked at the parametric least squares equations, you were actually doing what we call error propagation, even if you didn’t realize it.

This topic uses what you’ve already seen to introduce you to the notion of propagating errors / uncertainties. This is another thing you’ll build on in future courses. My goal is to give you a good starting point and some of the basic skills.
